Video on DCL transfer bus

I have searched the Boards and I haven't seen this question asked about transfers. This is our very first cruise and I have read that they show a video on the bus trip from the airport. I know all about the debate over the cost and handling your own bags or not but I would like to hear comments on the value of the video to a group of 7 who know absolutely nothing (except for me who has learned a lot from these boards. Is the information of any value?

It is basically the same tape as the promotional video...at least it once last time we took the DCL buses...that was about 2 years ago. It really is just an overview of the restaurants, shows, activities onboard.

Hi Bill, and welcome to the Cruise Board!

The video on the bus is interesting for first-timers but you would not be missing anything to go with alternate transportation to the port. Go with whatever is the best option for your group.

My opinion of the transfers was very poor and I would not do it again and no we did not get shown a video at all. I was very surprised but then again, our bus driver definitely was lacking in "disney magic"
