The Discovery Resort in Marigot Bay is a beautiful resort, that's where the Pink Snail Bar on the video is. It's in a fantastic location easily within reach of all the bars and restaurants either by walking or using water taxis. It is rather expensive though, I think prices start around $300 a night.

A cheaper alternative is the Oasis, which has all sorts of different cottages and villas for rent starting around the $150 mark.

I really think I'll be going back to St Lucia at some point in the future as it was lovely. That being said, the world is a big place and there is so much more to see.

Kev I've just read all your trippies of your last vacation. They are brill by the way. In your last one you mentioned staying at The Sandals at St Lucia. Any reasons why you changed your mind?

We cancelled Sandals thanks to reports on Tripadvisor. Now I know that you have to be a little careful with bad reports on Tripadvisor as it is only human nature to moan about things going wrong and not bothering to comment when things are good, but there were consistant terrible reports about Regency Sandals, so we thought it would be better to not take the risk.
As it turns out cancelled at no cost, in fact we even made a little bit of money as the exchange rate had changed to our advantage!

I'm glad we made the decision to move to Marigot Bay, especially after driving through Castries and Rodney Bay.
