video editing software

I have a vaction video i'm trying to put on dvd. I have taken the video from the camcorder and encoded into mpg2 format. I want to take the movie and edit it (by edit i simply mean cutting a few scences for time). I cann't find a program to do it, does anyone have any suggestions?

I've used Roxio's VideoWave in the past -- pretty easy to use.

I use Pinnacle Studio 8. It works very well and is easy to use.

I use both MGI Video Wave and Pinnacle's Studio 8, both are easy to use software, have also used some software from ULead but I wasn't impressed with it
