The mail carrier just dropped off my gold water bottle. DH loves swag, so I sent him a pic. He's all excited. He can have it. I have enough water bottles to drown a small village.

Yeah, it was a nice reminder that I really should clean out our water bottle cabinet one of these days!

Oooh I forgot about that coffee shop- probably exactly what we will be looking for. Not overly interested in venturing too far if my little one is still tired from the party!

Swan has some solid breakfast options and if you want a little more of a trek (but not as bad as the trip to POLY), we often take the Skyliner to RIV for breakfast when staying at BWV.

I think I’ve discovered my personal DVC max humans:bathrooms ratio.

5:2 was not great, but was doable for us. 6:2 is when I will start thinking about a second room or a larger villa with more bathrooms, I believe, if staying at a DVC location without nearby available bathrooms.

I grew up with just 1 toilet in our whole house. Now I have three in my house, and am so spoiled I can’t go back!

Off topic but I remember you used to be able to rent golf carts when staying in the tree houses. You could drive to DS (downtown Disney at the time) with them and there were golf carts parking spots there. Was fun

Did that go away before or after we lost the second set of bus stops for DS downtown Disney? I still think that was a very poor move on Disney’s part.

I grew up in a house with 2 toilets for 5 people. But only 1 shower. Sometimes I can't believe we all managed a showering schedule without killing each other when I was young.

Now I live in a house with 3 bathrooms that all have toilets and showers/bathtubs. And only 3 people in our house. So like you, I am also spoiled now and basically want at least 2 toilets for the three of us on vacation. I wish more of the 1-bedrooms have 2 proper bathrooms though!

Just got my new Brooks RunDisney shoes and starting to break them in for our May WDW trip! I don't run, but love Brooks shoes and these ones were calling my name (Disneyland 70th birthday colors) so I stalked the website until my size came in stock.

Question - to those direct members who have gotten gold water bottles - did you just get 1 when you purchased or did you get 2? I guess I assumed we'd get 2 but the box came today and there's just 1 in there.

I also found it interesting that the certificate listed the date of our original (resale) purchase from 2023.

A few years ago during the VGF fire sale, we got 2 gold water bottles. I'll let you know what we get as we just closed a direct VDH contract a couple of weeks ago. UPS shows something from "Ccg" in West Caldwell, NJ, as "label created", but not shipped yet. I'm not expecting anything, so if this isn't from DVC, I don't know what it is.

We added the VDH contract on what was our resale-only VGC membership, so it will be interesting to see what date they list.

It must be part of their new sales strategy: if you want another gold water bottle, you could always add another direct contract.
