Victoria Falls Question

Hi,
I've read that you can order off the Jiko menu at Victoria Falls. Is it the full menu or do they have a more limited bar menu? I'm thinking of planning some alone time with DH but don't really want to do a full sit-down meal at Jiko.

You cannot order from the Jiko menu at Victoria Falls. The only food that Victoria Falls sells are spiced nuts. However, you can order from the full Jiko menu at the Cape Town Lounge downstairs, inside Jiko.

Thanks. Do you know if they take TIW? They aren't listed, but since the lounge is part of Jiko does that count?

Yes, I believe they do. Perhaps someone else can confirm?

1) They have the normal bar drinks.
2) Plus, they have some AKL specialty drinks and African wines.
3) For nibbles, I do remember at least the following
. . . Cheese & Fruit Plates
. . . Crisp Breads & Dips
. . . Roasted Nuts with African spices
. . . Shrimp Cocktail

Victoria Falls, Jiko and Boma take TIW. I would assumethey do. But I have neve been there and don't know for sure!

Victoria Falls has a very small bar munchies menu. They DO take TIW.

You don't have to commit to a full dinner at Jiko, or for any restaurant for that matter. If you are seated with a normal ADR, there's nothing wrong with ordering appetizers only.

I often order appetizers and dessert as a meal and skip an entrée entirely.

They take TIW. We had pre-dinner cocktails there last week. It is one of my favorite lounges on property.
