Victoria and Albert's Seating Times

Are there only 2 seating times at V&A's? We ate there last summer and I think we had the first seating - but people came in all throughout our meal. We are planning on dining there again next summer and I would prefer to begin the meal around 7:00pm. Which seating is this or can I simply make a reservation for 7pm?

As far as I know, there are two seating time frames if you will... early and late.... but the seatings are staggered. So someone may have 6pm and another group 6:15 but both are in the early seating. The late seating frame is 9ish I believe. We've always done the early seating.

But let us know if you discover you can make one for 7pm.

First seatings are 5:45 to 6:30.
Second from 9:00 to 9:45

I recall somewhere in my dim memory banks that sometimes (or maybe just once) in July/August V&A had seatings from 7:00 to 7:45. But don't know if that's true, and if it was in addition to the other times. Most times the early seating is pretty full and I can't see too many folks out in time for a 7:00 seating. We always get a 6:00 or a 6:15 seating and barley get out in time for the 9:00 seatings!!

Then it WAS true!!
Thing is--is it just July/August?? When I call for Sept. and in May, they offer only the two seatings I mentioned earlier---.
I can't imagine anyone booking the 5:45-6:30 times being done their meals by 7:30--so maybe they sort of "combine " the early and late seatings into just one 7:00-7:45 seating?????
Anybody know for sure???
