Via Napoli

I just made luncheon reservations on line with Disney for May at Via Napoli and on the confirmation it said it was not included on the dining plan? I have a copy of the deluxe plan and it is on it. Anyone know what is going on?

Call Disney Dining and ask them. I could understand it not being included, since it is unclear how they would debit your meal credits if you ordered a family size pizza.

I was reading over on the Disney Dining Plan board that the Disney reservation site has been having issues with listing which restaurants qualify for the dining plan. I've seen Via Napoli listed in both the Deluxe and Regular dining plan brochures, so I doubt it's been dropped. My guess is that it's an error on your confirmation. As the PP indicated you could call Disney Dining and find out what they say, but be aware that they don't always give out the correct information either.

You might try asking if people have been able to use DDP credits at Via Napoli since 1/1/11 (I'm guessing that if they couldn't, it would be posted on the boards by now).

To the PP, my understanding is that if you order the family sized pizza it counts as two credits.

Yes - there are errors on many of the Disney pages when booking the dining online. I brought that to a CM's attention the other day when I was calling in for some reservations.

As far as I know, it's definitely included.

And I highly recommend it!!!

We ate there on the deluxe plan in Nov. For the pizza on the plan, they give you an individual sized pizza (which was big) per person. Check out the menu on All Ears, they don't allow any customization of the pizzas, so make sure they have something you'll like.

The pizza was decent, everything else we had was not. If you're interested in anything other than pizza, go to Tutto Italia instead!!!

I didn't have the pizza, but had the lasagna and it was the best lasagna I had ever had. I live in PA and we have tons of Italian restaurants in every small town, so even though I'm not Italian, I've eaten TONS of it. (I'm also married to an Italian.)

We found the dishes to be very authentic at Via Napoli. The lasagna had the creamiest cheese in it ever. Just thinking about it makes me want to be able to teleport over there right now and have some! (Escaping the snowy cold weather would just be a bonus!)

And the desserts were excellent.
