Just booked online for 9/23 dinner but I had a couple of questions. Online, it was listed as $$$. Is it really a $$$ restaurant? The sample menu I saw posted here didn't give me the idea that it would be that expensive. I mean...pizzas and pasta??? Also, if it is $$$, is it only 1 TS credit per person? It said it was only 1 online but I guess I'm afraid of getting there, eating dinner then getting stuck either paying more OOP or using another TS credit.

Anyone have more info on this?

Thanks. :)

Yes, it is expensive. The largest pizzas are expensive. They can cost up to around $50. However, they are twelve-slice pizzas, if each person has one slice that pizza can serve up to 12 people.

Yes, it is only one TS per person. It is not a two-credit per person restaurant. There are no reports regarding whether you can use DDP credits to buy a large pizza to share though. My guess is that you'll only be able to use DDP credits to buy individual pizzas, although we don't know yet if they've worked out a credit-sharing plan for multi-serving pizzas.

Another Disser- Poohj80- was there 8/5 and posted the following:

"I asked about the DDP and pizza. An individual with be 1 TS credit, large 2 TS credits,t and 1/2 meter will be 4 TS credits. We ordered a large for 2 adults and it was more than we could eat so this could be a deal for a family of 3. We saw a family of 4 who left just under half of the 1/2 meter pizza.

As for the food, the calamari was yummy as an appetizer - very flaky, not overly breaded. I didn't like our pizza choice much but DH did. If you are a beer drinker, just order a pitcher. We got almost 6 full mugs out of the pitcher which costs the same as 2.5 individual mugs."

So, while it's not a "signature" restaurant requiring 2 TS per person, the large pizza will cost you 2 TS -- I suppose the assumption there is that two people will be splitting it, so they will charge for 2 "meals".

Are those adult credits necessary to split pizzas, or do child credits count?

This could be a huge boon for DDP users. Apparently a group of up to 12 can eat on just four TS credits.

Are those adult credits necessary to split pizzas, or do child credits count?

I would assume those are adult credits, as they do have a children's menu (so that would be the only place to use child credits). But, that's just a semi-educated guess, lol.

Yes, beverage and dessert included. I would imagine if you spend 4 TS for the large pizza you also get 4 beverages and 4 desserts.

Where do I find the menu for this place?

Please pardon my ignorance, but I'm not sure about the etiquette of posting links from elsewhere (don't mean to be difficult, but don't want to step on any toes either!) . . .

But, if you simply Google "Epcot Via Napoli Menu" there are several up, either in blog reviews or other Disney-focused sites.

HTH (at least a little bit!).

I can't remember exactly where I saw it. Do a search for Via Napoli. Some DISers have been to the invitation only dinner and they posted a basic menu. It looks like mostly pizzas and pastas - more of what Americans think of when you say "Italian food." The menu looked really yummy and it looked like it would appeal to the masses more than the Tutto Italia menu would. That's just my take on it, though. ;)

I saw the blog from allears yesterday, where they had a link to the menu. Looks good. We might be trying it in October.
