Via Napoli pizza size question

OK, is it me, or did I miss something? I've seen the new pricing for the Via Napoli pizzas, and they show 3 sizes, 10 inch, 20 inch, and 1/2 meter. Well, according to my calculations, a meter is 39 inches, so a 1/2 meter would be about 19 1/2 inches, which would not explain why the 1/2 meter pizzas are much more expensive than the 20 inchers. In fact, some of the pizza prices are pretty exhorbitant in my opinion, but I'm sure people will pay it.

Anyway, anyone have any ideas on the size/price discrepancies?

Take care,

Bill

Here you go. These are from the restaurant at DTD at Disneyland. The first two pics are of the "individual" size and the last one is the 1/2 meter.

From what I've read, the individual is more than enough for two people to share.

you are very correct in your sizing.......it may be a terminology issue....my guess is it is the same product shaped a little different. the only way to be sure is, oddly enough, to weigh them.

I assumed that "half meter" meant half of a square meter, as in, one meter long and one half meter wide ... or something like that.

20 inch = 8 slices
1/2 meter = 12 slices

Pricey in some ways.. It all depends where you are from and if the pizza is good or not.... I have not had good Pizza anywhere at Disney I have tries almost all-- wood fired, fresh, machine made etc they all :scared1:
so yes I would be willing to pay for good pizza -- but is not that much if at all more then I can pay where I am from at a TS.
a 20 inch can feed 3-4 people (maybe more)
the 1/2 meter can feed 4-6(maybe more)
