Via Napoli on DDP?

Can someone please explain to me how ordering a pizza at Via Napoli for a family of 3 or 4 works? Is one large pizza a TS credit for each person? I'm really confused about this here.

Just ate there tonite.
On the DDP, a table service credit can only be used for the individual sized pizza. We were not given any option to combine credits to purchase larger pizzas.
One credit can go towards the indiviual size Margherita, and then pay extra for toppings ($2.00 per topping), or any individual signature pizza (much better value for credit, IMHO).
Hope this helps. (we really enjoyed our meal, and our service was exceptional!

We just ate there 3 weeks ago, and its exactly as the above poster stated, individual pizzas only on the DP. Maybe just let each person pick their own kind of individual pizza? That worked very well for us!

There used to be a list that went out stating you could do the following:

1 TS credit: Individual pizza, drink and dessert.
2 TS credits: Large pizza, 2 drinks, 2 desserts.
4 TS credits: 1/2 meter pizza, 4 drinks, 4 desserts.

Adult credits only could be used like this. Children's credits could only be used to order from the children's menu.

And no sharing allowed on DDP - 2 people couldn't just spend 1 credit to order one individual pizza and share it. They would both have to spend a credit and either get two individuals, one large pizza, or an individual pizza and a separate entree. Same with the larger pizzas - any more than 2 or 4 at the table and the extra persons would have to use credits.

It sounds as though they may have changed this, and it's now individual pizzas for 1 credit only.

Thanks all! The individual pizza thing made sense to me, but I thought I remembered about a year ago that people were getting large pizza's for 2 TS, so I was slightly baffled as to how things work there.

An individual pizza doesn't seem like a good use of TS credits compared with dining at other restaurants or am I missing something?

We love the individual pizzas at Wolf Gang pucks express which cost 1 CS credit.

Via Napoli is not a CS restaurant, so yes, you have to use a TS credit. It might be a better deal to eat at Puck's Express...but it's a long way to Downtown Disney if you don't have a car.

A margherita pizza at Puck Express is $10.95 - at Via Napoli it's $16.

I know that there is no splitting however, I can choose to pay OOP for certain members of my party, right?

We were allowed to split last year at Via. We used 3 DDP credits for the five of us. Two of my kids are Disney adults so 4 pizzas plus a kid's meal would be way too much food for us. We loved it though!

So, I am thinking I want to use a combination of credits and cash here.

It's a moderate value. The included pizzas range from 16 (plain) to $18 (for specialty).

There are certainly dining plan covered entrees that are more than $18, but there are also plenty of entrees that are less.

Overall though -- $18 signature pizza, plus $2.50 beverage, plus $8 dessert, plus tax = about $30. Which is approximately the break even point for fair TS value under the dining plan. Not a big winner, but not a loser either.
