Via Napoli ADR

I am going to be needing a Via Napoli ADR for a group of 9 for May 2018. I realize that I won't actually be able to book these for about another 3 weeks, but I was a little concerned about availability for such a large group as I normally only make them for 4-5 people. So I checked 180 days from today and nothing is available for dinner for a party of 9 or anything within a week of there. There is availability for parties of 4 and 5. If I make 2 separate reservations can I somehow link them or let them know we are together when we arrive?

You can always try, they will try to accommodate you if they can, but nothing is guaranteed if you make 2 separate reservations.

Also, try making a reservation for 10 instead of 9. Sometimes odd numbers will not show availability, but even numbers do. I had this issue with one place in June. I was able to get 8, but not 7. I cannot remember where that was now though.

If it makes you feel better, I've gotten adrs at Via Napoli for a group of 12 without issue about 120 days out.

To my knowledge, even if you make a reservation for 9, they don't guarantee you'll sit together. So if you have to split it up, you may end up that way regardless of which reservation you have.

That said, we are going at the end of January. I have a family of 5 and can get reservations for Via Napoli very easily for our trip. I've got one, and have switched it around a fair amount. There was never a day/time that I couldn't get a reservation for my family that I tried.

I was playing around with our week, and I bet they don't have parties over 8 listed in the system. I can find lots for up to 8 people. I'd bet you have to make two separate reservations.

I've booked a group of 12 on MDE for Via Napoli and they have large tables that will fit everyone together.

This gives me some hope! We ate there last year and I saw numerous places which would hold large groups so I was shocked when I couldn't find availability there for a party of 9! I would understand at some of the smaller restaurants with limited seating but the whole back wall of that place is practically a large booth! lol

try 10 or 12, they may be one of those places that have issues with an odd number.

We had a party of 9. They sat us at the center table. It was great!
