VGC UY and booking question

For those of you adding on at VGC, what UY are you buying? We have an Aug UY. Do you think we'll have to wait until Aug '10 to stay then? I don't think we'd get 09 points as the resort won't be open in Aug '09...
I'd like to book my first trip for either Dec '09 or April '10, trying to understand my first stay will have to be after Aug '10 or if I can book but I'll have to borrow from '10 into '09? Or if they will give me some '09 points?

We asked for Sept UY and got it no problem. I am not sure if all UY are available but we wanted to keep it all the same for simplicity and were able to do it!

I believe we will have no points until Sept this year but that is fine since we can't actually stay till after November 2009 (estimated opening) so it will work out fine. We have our bonus points to use until then and no MFs to pay.

I bet if you ask for August UY points, you will be able to get them and your first set of points will be August 2009. You can call starting around March (approximate opening of booking) and make reservation using your 2009 August UY points for stays after the resort is actually open (Novemberish).

Now I am not sure what they are doing with Spring UYs like Feb, March or April??

I'm not at all an expert at this but I'm pretty sure you'd get your 09 pionts in Aug 09 but not be able to use them till the resort opens. Not sure what would happen if you had a FEB UY and bought in say - April 09 . . .

We get our first points in Dec 09. Dec is the ideal UY for us.

I have a Feb UY and will not get 2009 but will get 2010 points
