VGC refurb?

Ok, so checked in Wednesday and have asked twice.

A manager type when checking who said she did not know, but believed it should have been this year but will not be. She said the hotel will also be having some refurb next year so thinking they may align a bit. Hmmm. I thought the hotel side was just recently completed.

And then today I stopped in the Dvc office/center outside the vgc entrance and asked. Cast members said they did not know p. And honestly seemed a little irritated that I stopped in to ask.

All the HCA studios were unavailable for April. I took that as a sign they were starting then. We have one booked the second weekend of May and are hoping it’s new and shiny. Fingers crossed!

We are going in October, so I’m hopeful we’ll have new rooms then.

Nope, there were only the 2 cast members in there. No guests at all. It was pretty shocking how they acted. For all they knew, I was looking to add on points and stopped in to ask questions and that just happened to be my first question that day.

The hotel rooms got updated in 2017. They are about due for a softs good refresh. But will not likely get a full referb like the vilas will be getting.

I think they have a new "XX year type celebration" every single year, I doubt they even notice them except to open the souvenir boxes for that year

I don’t think anyone attended… surprised none of the DVC blog sites had someone on it.

Yeah, we've known it was "2025" forever now. that isn't very helpful at this point.

Someone on Facebook was there and said it was mentioned very little. But that they said something about the VGC refurb overlapping with some refurbs on the hotel side.
