Lets pretend that I check in at Disney day before my 21 bday does that mean I can't drink the entire trip because no one ages?

Just carry a picture ID that shows your date of birth (drivers license, state isued ID, passport) as a server may ask you for proof that you are old enough to drink.

Thanks it was just wondering I am past the drinking age but with all these threads lately that you don't age at Disney had me confused

Well, you are 27 aren't you? So, need to worry.:)

But no, it doesn't mean that.

There are no such things as stupid questions.....

NEVERMIND..:crazy2:

Just kidding...of course you can drink. Your ID will show you are of legal drinking age.

Also, when you eat at Disney all the calories just turn into pixie dust so you can't gain weight either, right? A girl can hope. :)

The "No one ages" thing is for Disney policies regarding higher ticketing, room occupancy, and dining (plan?) charges (unsure if a 2 year old will be free at CM if they turn 3 before the visit during that trip and paying OOP).

For example, if you check in with a 2 year old, and their birthday is on day 3 of your trip, they are 2 with regards for those 3 points above for the entire trip. Same deal with 9 year olds, and (possibly?) same deal with 17 year old with regards to extra adult charges at the resorts.

Since the drinking age doesn't fall under these policies, you can get a drink just fine if you turn 21 during a trip.

Nope. It means hit the world showcase and have a great time once you have turned 21. Bring you ID with you, they'll check you birthdate. They only care about when you turn into an adult at 10. LOL.

Good one!! I'm surprised you received so many serious responses. :)

I actually go backwards myself... I'm 42 but when I go to Disney I feel like I'm 12 again :thumbsup2

Actually, if you checked in at WDW while you were still 9, then stayed until you turned 21, you could both buy alcohol AND only pay child prices for tickets and meals!

:)

Come to think of it, if you checked in at age 2, then stayed for the rest of your life, you would never have to pay for admission!

:)

People age at WDW. It's not that people "don't age" ... it's that, if you turn from 2-3 or from 9-10 while you're at WDW, you don't have to purchase the next ticket up. Disney doesn't penalize you for getting older.

Someone turning 21 during their trip, however, will need to have a valid form of ID that proves they are old enough to drink.

:earsboy:

Not sure about OP's query, but it's got me thinking of one of my own.

Because of the strange time/space continuum thing they've got going on there, if I walk around backwards the entire time I'm there, does my age regress?

No. But if you visit World Showcase on a counter-clockwise loop rather than a clockwise loop, you get an extra hour at Epcot.

But if I do that, we can't start with a Margarita.

Too bad they have a limit for how long a reservation can be, because I would so do this if I won Powerball!
