What happens if you purchase an after hours ticket but can’t go for some reason? Do they work like regular park tickets where the value can be used toward another ticket?

Historically I believe the answer was no, after hours or parties were non-refundable. However, I have seen reports of people being refunded on Boo Bash After Hours tickets this season. Perhaps because of COVID they are being more lenient this year...

Officially they are completely non refundable. That can be transferred and gifted to another person. Technically no re sell allowed.

they have been more flexible with boo bash. I think because of the Covid wave Florida just had. I have no idea if they will still be flexible with the holiday party

My main concerns were Covid-related - that I could test positive or be exposed after I purchased the ticket for next month. I may just hold off and make sure they don’t sell out. Hopefully if someone was positive or exposed they would give a refund/credit.

I chatted with a CM before buying and was assured that the value of the ticket could applied to something else if we couldn’t go.
