Very Informal Wedding Question

My family and I are going to Disney at the end of September. DH and I are bringing our 3 children and my sister and her boyfriend. My sister is planning to get married this summer--very informal and low key, and now we are thinking that it would be fun to have her wedding at Disney. We are looking for something totally basic---just someone to officiate and that's about it. We're not even really looking for cake and flowers. They would even just get married in shorts. Because they've been together for something like 14 years, having a fancy wedding isn't a big priority. I have no idea where to find out about scheduling a ceremony. Can this even be done without any bells and whistles or does Disney only offer 'larger scale productions"?

I think your best bet would be contacting the Dolphin or Swan, not Disney. SO they'd still be married on property, but with more flexibility. The most basic package at Disney is $2350, and you have to have a 4 night reservation at a Disney resort. I hope that helps!

i would recommend like ashley did an intimate wedding package through disney fairytale weddings or just marry - at the swan & dolphin resort. basic packages look to start at $2,500 - $3,500. the intimate package seems to fit the bill for you & your small group. search other posts on this site for intimate weddings & just marry. i'm sure another intimate bride on the dis can give you more details, i'm a custom at ftw. the weddings can be as simple or extravagant as your budget allows.

You can also do something like renting a suite at one of the hotels and having the ceremony there. This would be completely on your own, not thru Disney or anyone else. You can hire an officant and have some deli trays or something catered thru hotel private dining.
