Very Important Question.....im Going On Sat The 12!!!!

This is a very important question. Barry said u could only get ONE Express pass at a time. Im going on Sat to IOA with a school trip, and i know the lines will be horrible. My friend went with his school to IOA not too long ago (in february) and i asked him bout it....he said he had as many as 3 or 4 express passes at a time. IS this posstible? will i be able to obtain several passes for diff rides? please help!!!!

Click on the link in my signature for Universal Express information. Basically, one-day ticketholders get one Universal Express pass at a time. Multiday ticketholders get 3 Universal Express passes at a time.

That doesnt make sense tho....disney does it fine, why cant IOA let u get more than one? i dont see the problem with getting a SPidey and Hulk one back to back.....if thats the policy, then it kinda sucks, and i at least now know to make sure to get to IOA from Sunday to Thurs, and avoid Fridays and Saturdays at all costs.....thanks for the help! If you have a one-day ticket, you can get a new pass every two hours, I think. Disney operates similarily, except all ticketholders (regardless of multiday or one-day) get one FP every two hours.

I don't know if that is true. I went to Ioa with a one day ticket with a bunch of friends. We had as many as 4 Express passes at a time. But, they were being given out by people and not machines. They have no way of knowing how many you have out at a time. So I think if there is a person giving out the passes you can get as many as you want. If there is a machine doing it, then it will know.

When Express first started, both the machines and the individuals working the kiosks could hand out as many passes to anyone since their was no "check" in place. This was done because their were still too many "kinks" in the software.

However, now that the system is working great, and the crowds are "more" manageable, the VALIDATION portion of the system has been turned ON. This was done immediately following Easter Week.

The Validation portion of the system is the link between the turnstiles, and the link between all the other Express kiosks in the park. In other words, you can only use a ticket that went through the turnstiles that day, and all the rules of Express (1 pass/1 day, etc) now apply.

So, unfortunately, when you visit on Saturday, you will only be allowed to receive 1 Express pass every two hours.
