Make a child character -- they can use the same email address over and over and over... Adult characters have to use a different email address each time.

im a child and i have to use a different email adress every time. well im not really that much a child is there a certain age considered a child

If you create a child character, you do not use an email address as your login. So you can use the same email address for your parent each time. If you create an adult character, your member name is your email address...so this would need to be different for each adult character you create.

do i look like a parent? why would they think a 15 year old is a parent. and they even ask for my parents email adress so why do i have to use an email adress as a login? sorry to ruin the topic

There is no need to remove your player names from your signatures...also I do not think there is any reason to change your password once a month either. You can if you feel better about doing it, then by all means do.

I feel this was an isolated incident to try and discredit WebMasterKelsie because this person feels they were unjustly treated .

My advice would be to make characters(mirror)of your main character in all possible combos you can....

okay then, sorry! just thought that if maybe no one knew WebMasterkelsie's player name, this might not have happened. and the password thing....... just a superstition of mine...........

I haven't seen or heard anymore of this player so I am hoping the situation was taken care of.

I still can't understand how anyone would have the nerve to do something to such a kind DIS member. It really does sicken me to know this actually happened.

uh.. isn't the easy and obvious solution to just take "(Dis)" out of our signatures, so that this scammer doesn't know who is on the dis? i mean wouldn't that be common sense?

Not necessarily. Most of us here have posted our vmk names somewhere here. And many of us also have them posted in the names thread.

Anyone can do a search for posts containing names and find us in vmk.

On top of that, I, personally don't think it's necessary to change our signatures here or in vmk.
As, Mal said, this was more or less an isolated case involving someone wanting some sort of "revenge" on what they percieved as unjust treatment on the forum.

this will sound childish but im on the case ill track them down i know how it feels someone has Bluemonkeyboy and im BluMonkeyboy btw you might want a citi card they can help get your identity back, and remember to shred those papers
