Very confused about fast pass+

Hi Experts,
Planning a trip to the world and I am so confused about the new fast pass system. I am signed up on MDE and have linked with the other family traveling with us. We are a group of 8. The original plan had us with a fast pass at 9:05, but I pushed it back because I thought we could walk right in a ride at rope drop. Now I'm reading it makes sense to use FP early so we can get more FP. I thought we were allotted only 3. So confused, please help. I'm the leader of my group and I want to do a good job.

1. Does it make sense to us FP early in morning
2. Can you get more then 3 FP
3. Can you change your FP once in park and can you make the changes on the MDE app or do you have to use kiosk?

Do all riders need to be in line at kiosk or can one person get the additional FP for the entire group. Thank you

One person can do it, but needs everyone's MagicBands or RFID tickets.

Mostly yes. No big changes there.
