WE BOOKED IT LAST NIGHT!!! Desert Inn here we come! I'm very happy with our decision.

Now we just have the flight to work on. Looks like we can get that for 100RT from Sacramento.

We're going on a very very tight budget. We've looked at the cheapest possible but honestly...maybe cheapest is not the "safest" way to go. We originally looked at Park Inn & Suites...$59-$69 a night....tripadvisor had some scary looking customer pictures. I'm still looking for less than 80-90 a night.....ANYONE have any suggestions....of course as close to dland as possible. Thanks

The SUPER 8. Very cheap. Its no Marriott but its clean and cheap.

We stayed in the C-1 suite at the Desert Inn about a year ago and it was very clean and we had no complaints. Overall, it worked out great for us price wise and being so close to the parks, since we had toddlers with us.

There hasn't been a Park Inn in a while; they changed names to Anaheim Camelot or something like that. And it was never ever the cheapest place to stay; it was rather on the high side compared to the other walking distance hotels on Harbor.

Do you mean Park VUE Inn? Or Best Western Park Place Inn? Or.....do you truly mean the now Anaheim Camelot f/k/a Park Inn? I never saw it getting that bad of reviews before and now that they're remodeling or have remodeled, they're not looking too bad and reviews certainly aren't bad.

I believe the full technical name is Parkside Inn and Suites. IT's over on the Paradise Pier side and if you look it up onlince, it's always super cheap (usually less than $70 a night) for a two bedroom suite. That alone just screams that somethings wrong, let alone all the horrible reviews and trip reports from there.

Parkside. Ahhh......completely different hotel. Good to know because the old Park Inn, present Camelot Inn is on my list of maybes.

Okay, I thought they were talking about the Park VUE Inn being a dump. Hmmm...

I have stayed at Park Inn and Suites, now known as Camelot Inn, and it was fine. I'd like to stay there again but can't find any rate less than $125 for my nights. Crazy!

Priceline is by far your best bet, it is true you do not know where you are staying, but you oick the area. If you look for a place in Anaheim it will offer a map of the area and you can pick Disneyland area. Request 3 stars and if you put down 40 to fifty a night I guarantee you will not be dissapointed. Our history with them is as follows

Anaheim Hyatt about 2 miles from Park free shuttle Stayed here 4 times prices afre from 35 to 60 a night through priceline

Anaheim Hilton about 2 miles from park you have to pay for anaheim shuttle about 3 dollars per person per day if memeory serves 45 per night

Doubletree 45 pernight free shuttle

Annabella 45 per night across the street so we walked

there are a few others that I cannot remember but I do know the price was never above 60 (there are some fees but they are small maybe add 7 to 10 dollars per night) I even upgraded for 20 dollars per night to a family suite at the Hyatt several times the last being During the Half Marathon

Our most recent trip Jan 2-6 we stayed at the Crowne plaza for 50 a night and I booked the night before we left. They also have a free shuttle.

Check it out and you have time so you can attempt very low "name your own price" just to see what happens.
I guarantee you will not be dissapointed

The place we always stay and really like it is the Anaheim Plaza Hotel. Looking at the online option, they have 2Q rooms for 72 per night for the 11-14th and then it bumps up to 95 for the last two nights. That gets you a micro, fridge, and kids eat free for both breakfast AND dinner at the hotel.
We like it because it's right across the street from DLR on Harbor, has large rooms and it's inexpensive. Nice little gift shop in the lobby.
