Very Angry Aaa Vent

i call my branch office- they are closed so I am transferred to the National Call center. I get this guy who gives me a quote on tix that is 100 LESS than ANYWHERE else. I'm excited but skeptical (we only need 3 days BASE, he says this is the price for a 2 days BASE with the 3rd day free YAY).

BUT being skeptical of saving OVER 100$ I call back and get a different rep- you know, just to check. She says "AA only sells the 4 day hopper- thats ALL we have". I'm like, "are you sure? I just talked to someone else....."

So she puts me on hold for 10 minutes to check around.
Sure enough comes back "sorry we only have 4 day, thats all we sell. it'll be this much".

I'm of course pretty skeptical...... SO I ask if I can go to the local BRANCH and get three day tickets "I don't think so, no"


WWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAA?


So should I call a third time ?

Different AAA associations offer different passes (and prices too). But maybe 4 day is their national minimum; the last time I bought PH at AAA I could only get a 4, 5 or 6 day. You could also look on ticketmania (and if you join mousesavers they send you a special link for an even better discount). HTH

That sounds like the Universal pass AAA sells 2 days one free you don't think he was that confused ....... yes it's AAA he could have been.

I don't think a verbal quote would be binding in this instance.

I joined AAA to save money and with every guote I did better doing it my self, and when we had AAA check on universal for us and they were way out of the water on it, I am hoping the AAA on hotel getting down there pays for the cost cause they sure didn't do it for me on disney or universal. mousesaver did better all the way around for us

HI ALL! it's me the OP. Well I called back even MORE and ever got that great price again. I do remember him saying something about Universal Studios, I wonder if thats truly what he was talking about!


Oh well, we just went to the Disney Store and bought the tix straight out!


BTW- I also did MUCH better with AAA buying everything seperately rather than taking one of their package deals. . . Which I find odd..., but?
I got air online
I got hotel (POP) from AAA
I got tix from Disney store


and came in under what they quoted me for a package!
