I finally woke up this morning without vertigo....first time in 5 days. I woke up with it for the first time ever on Monday am (coincidentally, had to get up extra early that morning to make our dining ressies - our 180 + 10 day). It was awful...I could hardly walk, the whole world felt as if it was tilting and moving. That brought on the nausea and everything else. Doctor gave me some good drugs, but they made me so sleepy. I feel like I've missed a week of my life. Couldn't do anything - no driving, couldn't read, couldn't be on the computer for long periods, got really cranky with the kids. Poor DH had to run himself ragged getting the kids to/from school and then to all their activities. Just wanted to share my elation on finally waking up without it! Thanks for listening!
I felt like an idiot. Normally I can tell when my eye get stopped up but I missed this one entirely.
The doctor thinks mine were due to allergies possibly - I had fluid in my ears and had 2 migraines in the week and a half leading up to this. The pollen has been HORRIBLE here. But man, the last 5 days have been rough. I wouldn't wish this on anyone. Hoping to never have another attack again!!!
