Yea i did it, got out of the hospital july 31st.

Feel like the alien just came out.

question for any of you that have done this also.. you got a problem eating apple sauce?, it about killed me today, air bubbles from hell.

would like some feedback

Well I had the Gastric bypass and I hate applesauce so I can't help you there, but I am still on clear liquids. Well as of tomorrow I can start phase II which includes:crab meat, baked fish, shrimp, pureed foods, eggs(scrambled, poached or soft boiled) tuna fish and believe it or not chili!(with beans)

I can't offer you any advice, but wanted to wish you the best of luck. Just keep reminding yourself that no matter how bad it may be now, in just a short while you'll be thinner, feeling great, and starting a new life for yourself. Hang in there!

honestly, dont touch the belly, dont expect me to do anything ( i like pointing this out the the wife ) and im pretty cool, im on percoset 1 every 4 hours when needed... i cant tell its kicking in for about an hour after i take it...so havent been actually, and other than feeling like i used to when i'd eat to much thats the only discomfort. Im a little slow to get up but everything else is normal.., if i had to i could actually physicaly go back to work monday, but im riding that short term disibility train to the last stop.

My wife had this as of march 14 so she knows whats its like, actully in the hospital a day shorter than i but also in sharper pain than i have been. she hit 100 total lost as of monday when i went in for preop.

apparently I DO have a higher pain threshold then most.
