Vero questions- elevators at 2 BR buildings?

We have been to VB several times but always in an Inn room. Do any of the building with the 1 and 2 BR units have elevators? I have a guest that would have a problem with stairs.

Also is there a place close by to rent a metal detector?

All the VB villa buildings have elevators. We used them frequently when we were with my brother's family as their youngest traveled best in a stroller.

Can't answer the metal detector question, but I'm sure someone else will know.

Just a thought to pass along. When we were in Vero last fall in a 2BDRM I asked if we could have an Ocean View room. The CM told me that if you want an OV you need to reserve a 1BDRM and a studio attached. All of the regular 2BDRMs do not have ocean view.
