Vero Question

I'm a little confused....just talked to member services. Reservations available for a studio, and a garden view which is in the main building. I had asked for a deluxe ocean view studio. Member services said the ocean views are in the studios in the outer buildings, not in the main buildings. Are they right? I thought I read on these boards that the ocean views are in the main buildings....help please.........Thanks in advance...........

Perhaps there is a little cross pollination going on here.
I have never stayed in a studio at VB so I'm not familiar with the layout, but it sounds as though someone is getting the studios confused with the Inn Rooms. The only guaranteed view (ocean or garden) will be an Inn Room. To the best of my knowledge all the Inn Rooms are located in the main bulding, and all the studios are in the outer buildings.

I think there's a terminology mix-up here. Specifically with "deluxe" and "main".
Deluxe is associated with the Inn Rooms (main building). There are garden and ocean view Inn rooms, each sleep up to four. I think this is what you are asking
for? A deluxe inn room; garden or ocean view?

Yes that does help. Are the garden views nice? Ocean view does not seem to be available in the main building at this time. I think I like the layout of the Inn rooms better. We have 3, and I think I'd rather have two beds than one I'd have to pull out.

Garden views can be very nice; sometime even nicer than ocean view in my opinion.
The only problem is that I don't believe the Vero Resort has a standard view. This means the garden views may also see some parking lot.

The Vero Resort is beautiful, and I wouldn't be disappointed with any of them.

Yes, we had a garden view that was really a parking lot view, but we loved the resort so much we bought a 150 point resale within a month of going there. We sat on the balcony and mostly I looked up at the trees and not down at the asphalt, it was fine, not noisy.

We stayed in the inn room and it was very nice. The same as the studio's at BCV except they had 2 Queen beds instead of the Sofa. However, the room was much bigger than the Studio at BCV (or at least it felt like that).

Even if you don't get a ocean view, VB has a huge covered porch off the lobby that has an ocean view with rocking chairs. Very nice!!

Our garden view was of the parking lot. I have no complaints as we were only in our room when it was dark outside. We spent much of the day at the pool or ocean or out shopping. If we opened the door at night, we could hear the ocean so we had the feeling that the ocean was out there. We had a nice time - just a bit slower pace compared to WDW.

Thanks for all the help! We were wait listed, but our ocean view Inn Room just came through! It will be our first trip to Vero., we just thought we needed something a little more peaceful than Disney World during spring break.
I loved the looks of the one bedroom, but just didn't want to use a lot of points...
