Does anyone know anything about the conditions at Vero Disney following the hurricane? We are due to go in November and not sure whether to cancel or not. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Vero and NewSymra, Daytona and Jacksonville are hit hard. Mostly traffic lights, lights out and roofs mobile home are wrecked, boats are wrecked and they expect a ton of beach erosion. I have seen pictures on the local news and Vero and new symra are just flood areas for the most part. I don't know that i would cancel but just keep an eye on things closer to your trip. I did'nt catch your date of travel. I know they are gonna need the tourist dollars so i hate to say cancel but just wait and let them regroup.

CBS had a reporter stationed in VB on last night's evening show and he basically said VB is "dark"--lots of flooding as well.
By your trip date in November, you probably won't notice much after-effects at all, except for the lack of tall vegetation and mature trees.
I'd say go for it--Florida will rebound quickly IF these darn storms stop pummelling the state.
