Vero Beach Transportation

How does one get there best? Fly into Orlando? Shutttles? Any thoughts would help

We drive all the way from Indiana

AND can't wait till Friday On the road again, Just can't wait to get on the road again.

We have had family join us on vacation before and some fly into Orlando, some to TAMPA (HOLY COW) they do transport themselves, and have flown people in and out of Melbourne. Orlando is the best airport in my opinion. Melbourne being closer is nice but they have limited access.

There is no Disney transportation to Vero

Since we always combine our Vero stays with WDW, we just fly into MCO and rent a car.
We drive to VB, then later in the week we drive to WDW, then drop the car at MCO at the end of our trip.
Most airports have lots of non stops to MCO, and at reasonable prices.

Most people fly into MCOand drive. West Palm Beach (PBI) is closer by about 15 to 20 minutes, though airfare is sometimes higher. Both offer pretty direct access to Vero.

I will be flying in to PBI. Southwest had fares $69 one way.

You mostlikely will want a rental car anyway. VB is very nice but you will probably want to get out and get some groceries or vist another resaturant.

Most will go through MCO or PBI for better flights.

Melborne is a smaller and closer airport but only has Delta as a mainline carrier. MLB could be a nice option if it works for you. www.mlbair.com (From the web page, they may also have ground transportation to VB if you really don't want a car.)
