We have some free Marriott nights to burn up and are looking at a location near the Vero Beach Resort. We’ve never been to Disney’s Vero Beach. Is it possible to visit for the day (or a even a little while?) Or is it strictly closed for resort guests only? And is it worth the visit? It would be DH, myself, and our kids 9 and 11.

Anything else to do/see at the resort for day trippers besides restaurants?
Just got back from a stay there and honestly not really, they seem to have a problem with non resort guests as at first interaction all the rec cms verified name and room number for things like towels, ping pong ball etc .

It's a small resort, cool to see but not much to actually see.

Agree. Possibly eat, but nothing else to do as a non-guest. Also, If you go to the beach, you cannot enter back to dvc property without a room key. Your kids would feel like they are missing out, Watching the fun at the pool, Putt putt etc from outside the gate.

Thanks all! I’m going to skip. Maybe one day we will actually get to the resort 🤷‍♀️
