We were scheduled to go to Vero In April from the 14th to the 17th, booked in an ocean view Inn room? We were starting our trip with two nights at Boardwalk. I got a call from DVC yesterday and was told that our ocean view inn room would not be available due to the refrurbishment. They told me that they would move me into the studios and request ocean view since I had been moved. They also gave me $50 per person resort credit. I originally accepted but was not happy about not being able to stay in the inn, I was told there were no rooms available at all. I called back and told them since this was our first time at Vero we really wanted to be in the main building and asked to be moved to Boardwalk. They were able to move our whole reservation to Boardwalk even though the DVC site showed no availability. I guess it's Vero next time.

I wonder if they are doing all the Lodge at the same time. I had read that they had started on the third floor a bit ago. They were also reportedly working on one of the Villa buildings as well.

We were there February 13-17. Third floor was totally closed off as well as Villa 14. We had a 4th floor inn ocean view.
It had no impact on our stay. I've heard they were ready to close off the 4th floor around this time.

Thanks. That is what I thought
