Vero Beach Questions

My wife and I are planning a last minute getaway. My wife wants a relaxing vacation and Vero sounds perfect for that. I want to see things and have fun. What is there to do? I figure if I really get bored, I can jump in the car and go WDW.
Any Ideas?

I have an aunt that lives in Vero.....I think mostly water related stuff, golf, or shopping.....I found this site, hope it's helpful

Lots of golf seems to be around there. Right now is the loggerhead turtle nesting season, that area is one of the largest...VB has a lottery for a turtle watch, you get "chosen" and they send a scout out looking for nesting activity and call you when they see it. We were fortunate enought to have one nest directly in front of where we stayed, truly an awesome experience. VB also has surf lessons - you can get out and catch some waves! Of course walks on the beach. There's marina activities on the Intercoastal. There's a movie theatre close by...
