Problem with my disney experience and reservations

The mydisneyexperience app will not allow me to make a dining reservation. I can search reservations, go all the way through the process: dates, party size, contact and cc info, but then receive an error message. I have cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, tried different devices- no luck. My only success has been in calling the dining line, which of course is not ideal. :sad1:

Has anyone else had this problem? Any solution? TIA
 
You need to call tech support tbh, this sounds like one of the many random tech issues that can happen with their notoriously crappy systems. Nobody here will be able to troubleshoot your specific issue the way they can so it’s best to call them and let them straighten it out. The help desk is (407) 939-4357.

Thanks - I was just hoping someone here had maybe had experienced the same "unicorn" of a problem. Their tech "support" - 🙄

When I’ve had weird glitches in the past with booking ADRs or similar on the app or website, usually switching between them or to another device will work. On ADR day no joke, I’m on my laptop and have my phone and my iPad open just in case. More than once I’ve had to swap to something else. But if nothing’s working at all, and it’s persistent, that sounds like an account issue to me and at that point you gotta bite the bullet and call unfortunately.
 
I've never had it where it will not work on the app and the website at the same time.
So here is a potentially dumb question... Are you sure its your ADR day? Do you have a split stay and maybe you're trying to book for the second booking?
And is there someone else that can try on THEIR app or the website?

Thanks - yes, the ADR window is open. I was able to have them book by calling the dining line. I was able to even modify the reservation myself online, just can't originate a new one :scratchin

Good idea - I could have someone else try their app as a workaround, but would rather have mine fixed.

Anyway - so I'm on hold with the help desk - 20 min and counting...
