Vero Beach questions ???

We are looking to stay at VB on points in May '03. Could some folks weigh in on the advantage and disadvantage of being in the Inn as opposed to staying in a Studio in one of the out buildings. The points seem to be the same for an ocean view room in the Inn as for a studio. The configuration of the rooms is obviously different with the Inn rooms being longer and narrower compared to the Studios. Both have a fridge and a microwave but I am just looking for more information than that. Noise, ambiance, accessibility to the pool, and similar stuff is what I am curious about. The studios seem to have a queen size bed and a couch. Are the inn rooms 2 beds queen size or full?

The Inn rooms give you the hotel atmosphere. As you noted, they also have 2 queen beds instead of the bed and sofa. The shape of the room can vary. You'll notice the building is kind of teepee shaped with the eaves making different shapes.....size of the balcony can also vary. The main difference is that an oceanview Inn room has a view of the ocean guaranteed -- some studios may lack this view. The resort is so small that nothing is far from anything.

We are Vero Beach owners and our personal preferences are the inn rooms on the 3rd floor because of the direct ocean view. Of course....our overall favorite accomodation is the Beach Cottage which is the best in DVC IMHO

We stayed in the Inn with 2 children. The room was comfortable and spacious - similar in size to studios at BW or VWL, except for the 2 beds. We did not have a view of the ocean, but found the view out the front of the resort to be fine, especially given the points savings- nice sunset, too. The Inn rooms are near to everything. We did hear a bit of noise one night, when some families were in the lobby rather late. It did not last long, though.
