Vero Beach OV Inn room

We are headed to Vero Beach next week. Traveling with DH, DS, DDIL, DGS 9, and DGD 5. We haven't been to Vero since 2007. What are must dos, favorite restaurants, and anything else we should know. It will be pretty low key as I am 4 weeks post hip replacement!

Bumping up as we will be there in August for the first time and would also like to know.

We were this last August. Had a beautiful OV Inn room on the 4th floor. Couldn’t ask for more room wise. Kids loved boogie boarding, the pool slide and mini golf. Lots of programs and activities too every day. We loved green cabin room and wind and waves too. Went one night to Riverside Cafe which we loved, kind of a bar/casual atmosphere right on water, good food, great atmosphere. Just really loved it and looking forward to going back possibly next year.

Some of the balconies are solid, meaning you can't see through the barrier. I always request "open balcony". We slept with the balcony door open one night so we could hear the ocean!

There was entertainment in the bar and we had a great dinner there of appetizers. We ate in the restaurant too but didn't really care for it.

It's an amazing resort.
