What is the difference n views from these rooms? I see that the studios offer different views but what about the inn??

The Inn rooms have 2 views, garden or ocean each a booking type. The studios mostly have no ocean view and do not have booking types, just studio.

I ended up booking inn studio garden view. Now I am wondering the difference between the two rooms... Inn room vs studio? Is one better/bigger than the other? Why would a person prefer one over the other? Ps thanks for your help!!

Studios are in the out buildings and would be the second bedroom in lock off 2 bedrooms. They have 1 queen bed and a full size sofa bed.

Inn rooms mostly have 2 queen beds. There used to be a few that have a king bed. I never had one of those, and do not know if after the renovation they still have a king bed.

Studios and inn rooms both have kitchenettes. If you need a laundry, the inn's laundry room is on the 4 th floor. For the out buildings the laundromat is in the basement, parking area.

If you have the points the ocean view rooms in the Inn are worth it. The garden view rooms may be a garden view or may overlook the parking lot.

If you ask for the inn ocean view, ask also for the open (vs. closed) patio. Much better view if you use the patio.

DW and I stayed at VB last November Inn room with ocean view. We honestly would like a 1 BR or studio even without the view. It didn't feel like a DVC stay.

We feel the ocean view inn rooms are by far the most preferable. Just can't get enough of that view! We will put our family groups in multiple OVIRs unless it's for a longer stay where we feel we really need the kitchen. The view from the villas is always questionable at best. In our humble opinions...

I don't understand, the Inn rooms are essentially a studio with a different set up. The only real differences in the rooms are that the shape of the room is different (studios more triangular like OKW) and the 2 queens plus queen and pull out like OKW. The kitchen is the same. There are some differences in location and resort feel, basically SSR vs BWV difference but I feel this works to the favor of the Inn rooms.

Maybe they missed having the couch to sit on. I prefer Inn Ocean View all the way but do like a sofa to sit on versus sitting on the bed or at the table.

I understand there are subtle differences but the post implied these were not studios, they really are studios by another name. If one prefers one type or set up for a studio over another, I get that.

I agree it was most likely the 2 queen beds vs 1 queen and the sofa bed. Only OKW has the 2 queen studio and honestly that is our least favorite studio. The Inn rooms are good for the views and being in the main building but I can completely understand if someone gives preferences to layout of the room vs the location or view.

Bottom line we should have stayed in a 1 Bedroom. We bought into the DVC so we could stay in something more than a hotel room.

I suspected it was more the 1 BR vs the studio rather than the Inn room vs "studio" there but didn't want to speculate too much.

We prefer the Inn rooms as it seems they're slightly bigger than the studios and like the two queen beds. The ocean view is great and we've had it before, but booked late this past trip and it was unavailable. The standard view was ok though. After all, any room at VB is only a few footsteps to the beach! Can't complain about that.

A few notes regarding the different rooms.

As others have posted, the Inn Rooms all have 2 queen beds, and a balcony. Some balconies are huge, some are small and some are somewhat enclosed. The Ocean View supposedly gaurantees an Ocean Biew, but be aware there are a couple of rooms at the north and south end of the building they classify as OV, that are only Ov if you lean over the balcony and crane your neck. We have only gotten stuck with that once, and immdeiately requested to be moved. Their claim is that the architect designated them OV. My response was that the architect could stay in that room and lean and crane his neck, but ai used extra points so I could sit on my balcony and see the ocean.

The Garden View Inn Rooms have some nice views to the west, but some also overlook the parking lot. They are a few points cheaper per night.

All Inn rooms are obviously in the main building, which is convenient to the Green Cabin and other amenities.

The Studios are in the separate outlying buildings, and consist of a queen bed and a sleeper sofa. Almost all of them do not have an Ocean View. There are a couple of scattered ones on upper levels that have a partial Ocean View, but there is no way to guarantee them in advance.

Parking for the Inn Rooms is in the underground garage in the main building, which we have never had a problem with finding a space. Parking for the other buildings can be under the respective building, or just outside the respective building, depending on capacity. Sometimes the underground parking is full, and you have to park outside.
