Hello All:
we are going to Vero for 3 days in July before 9 days of Disney World (I know it should probably be the other way around). We have never been to Vero and my 5 yo is so excited about going. The problem is that i can only find limited pictures of the resort. I would love to show him more detailed pics besides all the standard shots. can anyone help ? maybe with their private stash or a site that I haven't found yet. Thanks in advance.

I too would like to see more pictures of Vero. I think the Disney site is seriously lacking in that area.

When are you going to Vero Beach. We are spending two days at OKW (7/11 and 7/12) and then six days at VB. We're going "Home" for the first time.

VB for the first three days and OKW for the other nine. Looking forward to it.

We just booked Vero for 3 days in June! Our first time to Vero. We booked an Ocean View Inn room, we'd love to know a little more about those rooms. All of the pics we've seen have been of rooms in the guest buildings. We would have booked a 1 br but they were not available for our dates. Do the Inn rooms have balconies, it's hard to tell from the floorplan in the member guidebook. We are really looking forward to this trip. We decided to drive to FL this year from Texas instead of flying which gave us a little more flexibility of getting around so 3 days at Vero to start off our trip is going to be so relaxing! Anybody ever done the guided turtle watch that's mentioned in the guidebook. What's that?

Yes, the Inn rooms have balconies. I think you will love the Inn Ocean View room-they are spacious and they have a little fridge-about 3-4 ft tall, a sink/wet bar area, some cupboards, etc. We have never been sorry we booked an Inn Ocean View room-we love the view.

I have TONS of pictures of VB but no way to scan them-computer problems right now won't allow that. If I can post them soon, I will.

In our opinion, you're doing them in the right order. No matter how you get to Florida (unless you live there!), you'll probably be ready to kick back a little. And Vero's perfect for that. Then you'll be all set to hit the ground running the last 9 days.

We once did 3 at Vero, then 8 at WDW, and we all agreed that it was our best vacation ever. The one time we went to Vero after WDW, we were bored for the first couple days. Then, just when we got the hang of it, we had to leave.

We will be going to VB for 4 nites in early June 2003 & then to BWV for 6 nites. We usually plan a May or June vacation each year and split the time between VB & BWV. In the past we would spend the first part of our trip at BWV and the end at VB.

We decided to go to VB first this year. Our DS will be 7 yo this spring and he just loves the beach & pool at VB. And of course he loves the BWV or should I say WDW. Hopefully he won't spend too much time at VB anticipating going to WDW.

In the fall we going to BWV over Thanksgiving for 6 nites.

I can't wait. The cold weather in PA this year is driving me crazy.
I am really, really looking forward to June. And I don't care how warm (hot) it is in Florida in June. I most certainly will not complain.
I would much rather be hot in Florida than cold in PA.
