Am I correct in assuming that the only way to get in a 3 bedroom cottage in the Summer would be to own at VB and book at 11 months?:)

I believe that is an accurate statement. The majority of those people that come to The Timeshare Store, Inc.® looking to purchase Vero Beach despite the high annual dues are doing so because they want to book the 3 bedroom cottage more than 7 months in advance.

Hopefully, you will get some feedback from those who have stayed there or attempted to stay there.

I've been at VB in March and talked to people in a BC who booked within the 7 time frame. We're people who do own at VB and book 11 months out for a summer stay in a BC. We've done it last summer and will do it again next summer.

I know that I called exactly at 11 months, and I was so afraid that someone was walking a reservation and that I wouldn't get it, but that wasn't the case! We are starting our stay on a Sunday, and a Saturday night is VERY expensive, so maybe that helped.

I would highly doubt you could get the cottage without calling at 11 months at 9am no less! Especially for the summer. Our friend transferred points to us so we could make reservations.

I actually was able to book a BC at Vero for the Sunday, Monday & Tuesday of this past Labor Day within the 3 month window. I had to WL for Sunday but the other days were available when I called. I think it was because of being part of the weekend & week after Labor Day but it's possible.

Good luck to you!

Julia
