Vero Beach? Any thoughts?

We stayed at VB last August and although it was hot, it was beautiful and the water was wonderful. My daughter loved being in the pool and my son loved the beach, maybe we should go again, soon!! I feel a call to MS coming on... Resist the urge, Resist the urge... okay, there, it passed.

Great posts! Can't wait to go in 9 days time! Just wondered are the campfires on certain days or every night and what time are they? Any directions to Hales or the publix from the resort and also to Ocean Grill? Do I need to make reservations there? Thanks in advance!

I can't offer any insight on your other questions as we were only there for 1 night last Thursday, but I can tell you that campfires are not offered every night and in fact, it wasn't on the schedule the night we were there unfortunately.

The activities sheet given to you at check-in lists all the activities for the entire week, and I seem to recall the the campfires were listed 3 or 4 times during the week during the evening.

You could call the resort directly, and I'm sure they could provide you with some activiites information. Have a magical time, Vero Beach is definitely a DVC jewel!

We were there just over spring break for 5 days. It was nothing short of fantastic, as most of the poster have said. We did the campfire 2x and it was fun. I believe if memory serves me correctly it was Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights at 8:30. When you check in they will give you a weeks list of activities and also a map to get you to and from the stores and town. My DH husband loved it so much we are going back in August. Have a great time
