We are renting points for a week at BWV. We are also participating in Disney Dining Plan.
Are we able to "use the facilities" at Vero Beach and use our dining credits there? We would like to go to the beach for a day trip.

TIA Deb

There are public beach access areas at VB which could certainly be enjoyed by anyone. You would not have any status for using the facilities at the Disney resort at VB (even DVC members don't unless staying at the resort) but you could certainly ask at the desk to see some of the villas. If any are unoccupied and clean, I'm sure they would try to accommodate your request.

The Dining Plan is only for WDW dining options. Here is a link with a list of all the Dining Plan details and dining locations.

Unless you are specifically interested in visiting the VB resort, there are lots of closer spots to enjoy the beach.

Have a great trip! :)

Sorry, but I don't believe you could. You need a room key from Vero to access the pool. You definitely can't use your dining credits at Vero. That's just a WDW thing.

Thanks for the reply.
Do you have any suggestions for a good day trip to the beach with middle age children?
Is the Gulf or the Atlantic coast better?
Thanks, Deb

Anyone have suggestions for a good, close beach?
Is the Gulf better than Atlantic?
Looking for something pretty and family friendly.

Thanks, Deb

We used to go to Coco Beach on the Atlantic. It's been a few years so don't know what it's like these days.
