Verizon Wireless Upgrade Question

I have been having troubles with my phone, but I am not due for an upgrade until June. My brother is getting a new phone and said he would give me his current phone. If I take his current phone does anyone know if will I still be eligible for the upgrade in June or will that go away when I start using his phone?

You should still be eligible for the upgrade since having his phone activated for your number doesn't involve them giving you anything. You'll pay the activation fee.

Yes, your upgrade will still be there. Activating an existing phone is not the same thing as using your upgrade.

OK, I wasn't sure if they would change it based on a phone change on the account regardless where you got it from.
