Verizon Wireless Access at WLV, Villas and pool

We are arriving at WLV this Saturday, I ordered from Wegoshop and wanted to know if Verizon Wireless access is good at the WLV pool area. We want to hang at the pool and I wanted to see if I would get the phone call there with my cell. Also, does the villas section have Verizon Wireless access?

We used our Verizon cell phones all over WDW without a problem. (DH was supposed to be on vacation but we got several calls a day from work. )We were never at WL but I have to think the service would be the same.

We also use Verizon Wireless, and have used it extensively throughout the Disney property on many occasions. We have a family plan with multiple handsets and use it to keep in touch with each other during the day.

If you are talking about wireless internet?? As far as I know Disney does not offer wireless internet at any of their properties. They do have internet access in each resort room for a nominal charge of I believe $9.95/day. All you need is an internet card and a standard modular cable. If you do not have a cable, housekeeping will provide one free of charge as long as you return it at the end of your stay.

We also will be in the resort next week staying at SSR.

i had a bit of trouble in july with verizon at WL. it wasnt with the reception though. i was able to make and recieve any and all calls i made throughout the WL complex. including the WLV area. what i had trouble with was that the roaming icon would appear for no reason in certain areas of WL. i called verzon and they told me that this may be due to the structure of the WL itself may be causing this. well i was not billed for any roaming charges.

Patpat15 if you dont mind would you please post and let me know how your experience with wegoshop went. we are planning on using tem this july when we make our first trip to ssr. thanks

Wireless internet is offered at some places. I know the Luna Park area at BWV is one but I don't know the price. HSIA is available in the villas for $9.95/24hours.

We used wegoshop.com with great success last month. You can be very specific about brands or request lowest price if that is what you want. I found Becca very accommodating. We will definitely use the service again.

We keep up with the older kids via Verizon during our December trip with no problem- In the parks and at our resort, BWV's. We didn't use them at the WLV.
