Sunday 10th August.
We were late to bed last night, so it was late to rise! We started the day at the pool, I did some laundry while Si and Evie swam. I got a People Magazine and Simon got a paper to relax with by the pool as well.
At 12.30 we went into the food court for lunch, the had another hour by the pool while I picked up the washing and sorted it out. I dont usually do washing on holiday, but I couldnt face doing two weeks worth when I got home, and it was really convenient. Si and Evie had their usual afternoon nap, while I read by the pool again.
By 4 we were ready to head into EPCOT for the evening.
As Evie was being so brave with the rides, we started on SpaceShip Earth, this was as great as ever and we LOVE the new bits! Evie liked this ride, which I was surprised about as I thought she wouldnt like the dark.
Next we were over to The Seas with Nemo.
This was the first time wed been on this and it was very cute, and was walk on, which is always a bonus! After seeing the dolphins and manatees we went into Turtle talk. Evie surprised me again, by sitting at the front on her own, shes got so much more confident recently bless her.
This was a first for us again and we thought it was brilliant, so funny - dude! We then had a trip around The Land and had our tea at Seasons, we had a delicious pork chop dinner there.
We then walked over to the Imagination ride, but it was shut, does anyone know if its permanently shut? So we headed round to world showcase, starting in Mexico again so Evie could enjoy her Mexico boat ride!
We wandered, stopping in Italy again, this time for a glass of Rosa Regale, wow, its so delicious!!
We were in USA about 8.30 so decided we would stop for IllumiNations there, but stand well back as Evie now officially hates fireworks, well so she tells us 5 times a day!! We passed the time with a funnel cake, YUM!
Evie coped with the fireworks by burying her head in daddys neck. It was lovely to see them if only from a distance. Afterwards we slowly walked back to the car and back to POFQ for a good nights sleep.
Tomorrow: Our vow renewal and the Yachtsman Steakhouse.
