Tuesday 12th August.

Well as with each day, we were up late again and lazed in bed watching Disney TV till 11am. At 11.30 we went down to the pool for a bit. Evie was feeling very brave today and went in the big pool with a life vest on and swam on her own! Bless, she loved it and was SO proud of herself! :goodvibes I couldn’t face anymore food and wanted to enjoy my dinner at 1900Park Fare later, so we decided to have some snacks by the pool to keep us going. I picked up some grapes, apple slices with caramel dip (“genius!” say Simon!), crisps and cookies. It was nice just to laze by the pool.
At 1pm we have a quick change then over to MK, as we haven’t seen the parade yet. As we pull into the parking lot it’s raining a bit, but only a little. We are parked near the ticket and transportation center, so it’s just a short walk to the monorail. It’s straight over to IASW for Miss Evie, but it’s a 60 minute wait, :scared1: we don’t love it that much! So we persuaded her that she would much rather go on the horses!! It was nearly time for the parade, but Simon really couldn’t cope without lunch so got a hotdog and fries meal, he had the hotdog and Evie the fries.

We were lucky to get a spot near the top of Main Street where the drizzle began. Evie loved the parade she watched it and I watched her, she was transfixed and waved throughout, more tears from me!!
After the parade Evie was chuntering about IASW again, so we headed back over, there was a 30 minute wait now, so we got in the queue and had lots of fun on this (AGAIN!). After IASW we headed to Philamagic which only had a 20 minute wait. I was wearing a strappy top and when I lifted Evie one of the strap broke, so I spent the next hour holding it up!! Evie wasn’t sure about this show, I think she liked it, but it was a bit too loud for her. The afternoon was wearing on and we had a purchase to make. Evie’s cousin Neil had given her some spending money for a Princess outfit and Evie knew exactly which one she wanted!! So we went in search of the Cinderella costume! Once this had been purchased we caught the monorail over to the GF.

We were a few minutes early, so I nipped into the shop to buy myself a new top, I got a black tinkerbll top, which I was very happy with. Evie and I then went to the restrooms to chanege; Evie into her costume and me into my new top. We checked in and were given our buzzer and asked to wait out in the foyer. We grabbed a sofa. Evie was so excited in her dress and was dancing all over the place, much to the amusement of the people passing through! After about 5 minutes a kind man from behind one of the desks, maybe the concierge desk, came over and said he had been watching her dance and had some flowers for her it was so sweet! :lovestruc

We were buzzed through a few minutes later. And were taken to a table in the main room, near the buffet. It was good because each character came to our table first! We met Prince Charming, the sisters, the step mother and Cinderella herself. I’m not sure Evie knew quite what to make of the face characters and she kept asking when Goofy was coming out! The food was good again, but it was very frantic in there.

After the meal we considered going back to the park, but we were all rather weary and decided to give up while we were ahead! We were back in the room for 8pm having a well earnt early night!!

I'll bet you're having trouble deciding which photos to frame from this vacation. Once again you've managed to catch some truly memorable moments. Afraid Cinderella was outshone in the picture with Evie. I can imagine Evie being a beautiful Cinderella for other little girls someday. You know, in about fifteen years you could enroll her in the Disney iternational students program.

Verity looks so cute in her outfit. Another brillant day with lovely photos.
