I usually drive to Disney because back 20 years in my 20's I was diagnosis with benign positional vertigo... get dizzy because the crystals in my ears fall and cause the spinnies... happens not to often mostly sudden positional jerky movements that move the crystals in my ear... Question is does any one have a veritgo problem and take a dramamine and it works for the duration of the plane ride, mine being 2 and a half hour flight. Dramimine worked pretty good last year for the rides that were moderate, splash mountain, peter pan, haunted mansion,ect... I will talk to my doctor and get his take just wondering if this over the counter medicine worked for anyone with mild vertigo...Thankyou...
I was diagnosed 2 years back with benign positional vertigo just recently the diagnosis was changed to Meneires Disease =) I know how you feel, I was prescribed Meclazine 25mg which is the same as Bonine except it doesnt make me drowsy! I purchased the chewable kind on Drugstore.com which is over the counter and those worked okay, I like the tablets better that are prescription only.
