Verify the charges on your account before checkout

We were at OKW this past weekend.

When our account statement arrived the morning of checkout, some of the charges had been double posted. I don't know if it was a computer glitch or someone manually keyed it in the second time for some reason.

There was obviously no problem pointing out the problem and getting it credited. But, while standing at the desk and wondering if I was the only one this happened to, I saw another printout sitting on the desk which someone else had brought back because of the same exact problem.

Anyhow, verify all of the charges before leaving.
 
Thanks for the tip. It's always a good idea to double check the bill at any hotel....billing errors are fairly common and I've rarely had a problem getting them resolved.

The same thing goes with double checking your reservation sheet when it comes. Whatever is on that sheet is what DVD has in their computers...so to avoid any embarrassment at check-in, check that confirmation sheet out!
 
This is a very good tip! I usually go to the front desk on our last evening, and request a printout. That way I'll know before checkout if there are any problems. I am usually so nuts packing last minute stuff at checkout, I'm afraid I'd miss it if I waited until then.

I do the same thing Erika does - I usually get a printout the night before we leave, so I can check it before the morning rush. I've never had a problem getting a printout.
 

I always find valet parking charges, when DVC is exempt from those charges. They gladly remove them, but I do have to make the trip to the front desk to get it removed. I always try to state "DVC Memeber when I turn the keys over to the valet too, but yet the charges keep on coming.
 
I'm the lazy soul who never looks at my charges until I'm finally home, and back into the hum drum of my daily life. I like to wait till the American Express bill comes, if possible. In 30 years, Disney has never failed to fix any problems with my bill with just a phone call to explain the problem. They are so nice to work with, so don't worry if you forget, they are still nice even after you go home.;)
 
I choose express check out and peruse my bill in the morning before leaving the resort. I have found incorrect charges twice and both times the front desk took them right off. No problem!
 
We also get a printout the last night of our stay......just in case.:D
