vera bradley shipping situation

I live in NW ohio - vera is indiana. I thought today ALL DAY was deadline for standard ground guaranteed xmas delivery. Well deadline was noon today.... would you take the chance... I actually don't need the gift until the 26th. The difference in postage is $20 between standard and expedited.. so obviously being the cheepo... I don't want to pay $28 shipping. Anyone have experience with great fast or terribly slow vera shipping?

My shipments have always arrived promptly (w/in a couple of days), but that was in spring vs the busy christmas season. I think one of the reasons for the expedited shipping is to get it out of their warehouse sooner.

If the shipping is United Parcel or fed ex I would take the chance. If it is the Post Office who knows. I would call them and see how soon they can process it they should be able to tellyou how soon it will leacve the warehouse.

Honestly I would chance it especially if it was with either of the 2 parcel services not the Post Office.

I think you would be fine. USPS has been very good even with parcel during the holidays and I do quite a lot of shipping. Usually 15 items daily.

I mailed 4 boxes today from GA to NJ ground UPS, I have them tracked with my email. They are scheduled to arrive this friday the 18th. I would definitly not pay for expediated shipping.

I order the beginning of the season and the shipping was fast it was shipped fedex. However it took them a while to process my order.

I had reg shipping and was in days. maybe at the most it was a week, but I think it was more like 5 days. It was not holidays though.

I got a Vera set, the tote for $15 and wristlet, $15 eye glass case for $8, or $10...

BUT This week at Boscov's there is a huge mark down on sets of quilted bags/

The processing at VB is slow right now. My stuff arrived via FedEx, which was quick. i ordered during the big sale a few weeks ago and it took right at 2 weeks to get my stuff.

I ordered some sale things on Monday,12/14/09 and got them today,12/17/09. I used regular delivery. This is the fastest I've gotten stuff from them. I placed an order 3 weeks ago and got it in a week.

Me too, actually I placed my order Sunday, so it was a Monday AM order. My box was on my porch before 11 today(paid for regular shipping, they arrived FedEx).

This was what I ran into too... I ordered December 6th and got it sometime last week. Not positive when, just remember that it took awhile.
