Does anyone have it, is it worth the money?

Does it hold up?

We were in the VB store in Bridgwater NJ and they had the Blue Java rolling luggage 25% off. My mom offered to get the large one for me ($300!!!!!, less the 25%) as an early Xmas gift, but I could get a whole decent set for that price..... but it was REALLY nice!!!

I don't have anything vera, but I have seen them and they are very pretty :lovestruc

If you plan on flying with them, I would say no. Iknow what my luggage comes out looking like and your VB would never be the same again!

For driving trips, very cute!

Yeah that is true...I had a brand new rolling duffle that they total demolished on its first trip...looked like it had been caught and dragged...

My SIL has one and it somehow got really wet- if i remember correctly they got caught in a downpour- and the colors bled onto the contents inside. I would be worried that it would get realy beat up if it is checked baggage when flying- they don't exactly handle luggage carefully!
That being said, I own a lot of Vera, and it always cleans up really well- the Java Blue bags clean well. I have never bit the bullet and bought any luggage, but it is beautiful! Good Luck!

Personally, I wouldn't spend the money one that. I only say that because when you check luggage, they will trash it. I have just simple, basic luggage that we got at Belk's and when we got home, a big gash. It would kill me if it were a Vera Bradley bag.

Now, I love to get big carry on pieces (that I know aren't going to leave my hands). the Miller bag is fantastic for a carry on.....fits everything. Also, the large duffle. I would buy just regualar luggage and get some special Vera Bradley pieces..... :goodvibes

I have the 22" rolling duffle in purple punch and the 19" carry on pull along in purple punch. I LOVE THEM !!!

I have checked the 22" duffle twice so far and no problems. The luggage is well made and the wheels are high quality. I wouldn't use them 10x a year but for a couple flights a year I think they will be fine.

I carried on the 19"...LOVE IT...perfect carryon bag for laptop, magazines, blanket, you know junk;);)...it even has a pocket for a bottled water on the outside.

I got sooooo many compliments and they were a big splurge for me...but well worth it !!! especially at 25% off.

The Java blue would be good at hiding dirt/marks I think.

I am very happy with mine and would LOVE to get a 26" roll on bag:lovestruc

I have thought about getting the expandable wheelaboard, but don't know it it's worth the extra, but after looking at other decent luggage it's not much more than a good piece of luggage. I won't be purchasing anymore expensive checked luggage and the past 3 pieces have been damaged, but for carry on I have no problems. Does anyone know when they will be on sale?
