There's a handbag I want on sale for $19.99, but the shipping is $8. I hate paying shipping and usually won't buy anything online unless I can get it shipped free. Anyone know if there's a code out there?

Go to retailmenot.com. I saw several offers for free shipping. They are continuing their Cyber Monday deals.

It is very rare to get a free shipping code for Vera Bradley - unless you spend a lot.

If the bag you want is a regular, new pattern - not sale, you can pick it up at a local retail store that sells vera. That is the only way to not pay shipping that I know of. Unfortunately for me, my girls are invested in a now retired pattern, so I have to look elsewhere for their bags.

I know that Barnes and Noble sells some patterns. Try there. You can also use one of the coupon codes on it. I bought one for my niece last year that way.

VB has lost a sale to me on more than one occasion because of their outrageous shipping as well. I think $8 for a 1 pound package that will take 2 weeks to get to you is a rip off. (Especially because I am not that far from Fort Wayne, where they ship from...) If they actually shipped quickly it might be worth it.

They rarely offer free shipping unless you spend a minimum - usually $75 or $100, depending on the day.

I agree- their shipping is expensive compared to other online retailers and slow. However, they do have awesome sales if you aren't looking for a particular print. The shipping cost included is still usually cheaper than buying elsewhere. And they package their items beautifully. If you need to return an item there are specific stores listed online that you can return to. Return shipping is not free.

I am sure this was a rare occurance but I ordered 2 items on Saturday and they showed up on my doorstep today. I just about fell over  So not what I am used to!

It looks like there is free shipping today!!

I read this post and immediately went to Vera's website totally expecting to buy a bag.

The old style Saddle Up is not available AT ALL on their website anymore. :sad1: That was the one and only bag that I just loved - the new SU style looks horrible. Bye bye VB!

Thanks for the news of free shipping. I had just decided to buy a VB piece for a gift last night and wasn't sure whether I'd need to look around here for something. It was easy to choose ordering with free shipping.

I made a purchase on VB's website on Wednesday. I had a $20 gift card, and I got a laptop sleeve on sale for &35, so my total came to $23 after my discount was applied, and $8.00 was added in for shipping. I am curious to see what would happen if I called Vera Bradley and either tried to cancel my order and place a new one w/ free shipping, or have an adjustment made for the shipping difference before my package is sent.
Do any of you ladies have any experiences canceling/adjusting orders with Vera Bradley? I wonder if it would be worth the hassle for $8.

Thanks for posting this. Of course the bag I wanted is not on sale anymore, well not for $19.99 anyway. Now it's $33. It would've been cheaper to pay the $8 shipping. Oh well, I didn't really need it.

I saw the same thing, yesterday they had hipsters for $29, today it is $45. Darn!

Oh thank you!! :worship: Well.... maybe not, if you KWIM... :lmao:

How on earth did you get that to pull up?!?! I couldn't get there through the style search (kept giving me only the new style) OR through the pattern search!

Woohoo - off to shopping!

I just put Saddle up in the search bar.

I bought Saddle Ups (old kind) for my girls' Easter "baskets" last year.

I received an email this morning that Vera is offering Free Ground Shipping on all orders!

Try Stephanie Dawn. pretty much same products only made in USA.

Has anyone been to the Vera Bradley Outlet in Orlando? We're going to WDW next weekend and according to Yahoo Maps the outlet is only 6 miles/11 minutes from Pop. If it's worth it, I'm going to try to talk DH into taking me there on the way home.
