I love this tote, but was wondering if it's too big to use as a purse. I have 2 in my cart. I use the Betsy now for a purse - I don't think it's that much bigger though. I could you use it as a beach bag...
Does anyone own this bag and what do you use it for?

I used mine as a purse. I don't think it would be big enough for a beachbag though

I use mine as a carry on at the airport. Or as a bag to take a towel and sunblock, etc to a friends pool. I don't know that I would use it as a purse because the top does not zipper, it just has a toggle clasp.

You can never have a big enough purse!! My current purse is the pleated tote in cupcake green... LOL!!

The Bucket tote is small, small enough for a purse for sure. It's a tad smaller than a Betsy (unless you mean the Little Betsy). The thing I don't like about it is it doesn't close at the top. Not big enough for a beach bag though. If the shipping wasn't $8 I would order another, I do like the style. The "handbag" is also $24 and I love all the pockets, key fob and the zip top! The place that sells Vera near us also has 40% off on a lot of patterns so check locally if you don't want to pay the shipping!

Ok, I think I'm going to get two, one to use as a purse and the other to use to bring to the beach to put my wallet, keys, and sunscreen in. I have Sittin in a Tree (to use as a purse) and now I can't decide between Bali Blue or Paprika for the beach bag (right now I'm using an old Betsy bag)
Anyone have either of these patterns?

I went ahead and ordered the Imperial Toille but am going to stop by the local store later today to see if I can get it there. If I can I will just cancel my order.

here's the link for the Handbag. it's only $24 in certain colors but the bucket tote is $ 24 in ALL colors. also, the handbag is much smaller and has less pockets.

VB outlet just opened near me in Wrentham Ma. The prices were good on most things. Some were better on line with a sale. Average savings per item that I got was about 30.00! I did some gift shopping. They had both current AND retired prints. I was surprised.

I was just at the Wrentham mall a couple of weeks ago and was sad I missed the opening. I'll have to hit it the next time I'm in MA.
