Vera Bradley Campus Backback on Water Rides?

I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on a Vera Bradley Campus backpack but I'm wondering how soaked it might get on Splash or even Pirates?

I have the Ultimate backpack (I think that is what is called) and I just made sure to not put it on the ground. I would kind of rest on my feet to keep it out of the water.

There were times by bag got soaked by being caught in the rain. Yes it got wet as did some of the things in it but I found it dried fairly quickly and is good as new.

Maybe bring a small plastic bag to go over it if you are worried about that.

Thank you everyone for your feedback. As much as I REALLY want one of the Disney print bags, I decided it just won't be practical if I'm worried about it getting wet. I was just going to recommend the lighten up line of bags. I am looking into getting one as well and the sales woman told me they hold up well when wet.

I work at Vera and though I much prefer our signature cotton, the lighten up styles are just right for theme park travel. I highly recommend the Lighten Up Slim Crossbody. That's the bag I'll be taking on my next Disney trip. Size-wise, I can hold all the necessities, it's perfect for water rides, and not so "precious" that you worry about setting it down on the ground and dirtying the cotton. There are a few bookbag variations as well, if you need more room. They go from a normal bookbag to a very large one, that actually holds more than the campus.

Spray it with Camp Out that you can get in the shoe dept of Walmart.

i think VB stuff is a pain when it rains..... it soaks up water! That said I do carry it, but I keep a couple of ziplocs inside for phones etc that can't get wet without being ruined.... on a ride I'd put it into a plastic bag, in the rain I do the same. (I guess it's the wrong bag for travel lol even tho it's cute
