I really want one. Is the "on the go" bag big enough to fit "stuff"?

The cargo sling may be a better bet if you want a bigger bag that looks similar to the "on the go" bag. The cargo sling is one of my favorites. I use it to fit all my kids / diaper items in, my mom uses one as a purse.
